Factoids: Lee Cunningham, who opened Bowlmore Alley in 1934, ran two bowling alleys on Bent Street in Powell, Powell Recreation Hall and Powell Bowling Alleys.
Warren Perry, the local Cody electrician, purchased the lanes in September 1941 from Joe MacDonald, who left for the army.
I found one reference to Bowlmore Alleys in 1941, so the name Cody Bowling Alleys may have been an easy reference and not very official.
Lee Cummings was the owner/manager of the alleys per the 1937 Ives Business Directory.
Joe T McDonald and Lee Cunningham were the owners/managers of the alleys per the 1939-40 Ives Business Directory.
Jos T McDonald was the owner/manager of the alleys per the 1941-42 Ives Business Directory.
