Before committing to the construction of the bowling alley, Mustang Corporation sought to obtain a liquor license from the city of Cody.

The 24-game Pahaska Tepee Masters Bowling Tourney was held here for three years, one of the only true scratch tournaments in Cody. Bessie O'Kelley ran the Mustang Cafe inside the Mustang Lanes bowling alley. |
